Bishop Dupree is a native of Kansas City, KS. He is the second to the youngest of six children to the late Pastor Alvin Dupree, Sr. and Co-Pastor Linda Dupree. He is a graduate of the University of Kansas, where he earned a Bachelor of Science in Psychology, with a minor in Women’s Studies. He later went on to earn his Juris Doctorate degree with a certificate in Family Law from Washburn University School of Law.
In April of 2000, Bishop Dupree received his license as a Minister of the Gospel. He was ordained as an Elder by the Church of God in Christ, Inc. a few years later. For more than 30 years, he served faithfully as a member of Grace Tabernacle Family Life Outreach Center, under the leadership of his late father, Pastor Alvin T. Dupree, Sr. While there, he served in several capacities, including, Associate Pastor and Sunday School Superintendent.
In January of 2018, Bishop Dupree founded Grace Abounds Community Church in Kansas City, Kansas, where he currently serves as Senior Pastor. He is first and foremost a man of God, with a love for God’s people and for seeing lives transformed. He is a passionate teacher and preacher of the Gospel who consistently encourages everyone to Love God, (with all of your heart, soul, mind, and strength (Mark 12:30)), Love One Another, (Mark 12:31), and Reach The Lost (Matt. 28:19-20).
He is married to his high school sweetheart, Lady Tamara Dupree. Together they are the proud parents of three sons; Demarquay Sr., Jaylen, and Timothy II., three daughters; Tim’Misha, Autumn, and Jasmine, and six grandchildren.
